Meet Stella
Meet the newest member of our family, a precious little AKC Great Dane pup named Stella! Her father is Fabio’s Victor Von Dione and her mother is Our Queen Daisy, and though her full ACK registration name is Fabio’s Queen Stella, we’re just working to get her to answer to Stella!
On September 14th, 2020, after considerable thought after the loss of three of our dogs in just 10 months, Oscar in September of 2019, Aerie in February of 2020, and Luna in June of 2020, Kim and our daughter Stormie drove to Stoney Creek Kennels in Ligonier, IN, just 17 miles from our home. There they met with Annette, who had introduced Kim and me to Stella over the previous weekend… Stella turned eight-weeks old on that Monday, so she was cleared to come home with us… This will be our first puppy since I joined the family in 2003. She is, like all large breed puppies, all feet and energy! Welcome, Stella!
8 Weeks Old…

9 Weeks Old…
She just discovered Aerie’s favorite ball!
11 Weeks Old…
Resting comfortably with her harness and seat belt… Don’t worry, she doesn’t weigh enough to activate the front airbag,
and, this was her first time with this harness/seat belt arrangement…so I needed to be able to hold her and manage
her had she had any tendency to explore or scurry around. She didn’t. She seems to LOVE being in the car…
She decided to see where we were going! I have a back seat liner and she will be
traveling back there now that I know she is comfortable in the car…
What is it with puppies and sticks! 😉
12 Weeks Old…
She wore herself out and decided to take a break…
…and as soon as I laid down beside her, she curled up to my shoulder, and decided to use my face for her pillow!
13 Weeks Old…
My theater chair is one of her favorite spots, with me in it or not!
She wasn’t ready to get up, so…she was just watching some TV in bed…the little stinker!
21 Weeks Old
Spent after an hour and a half romp in the back yard, legs up, in one of her favorite spots, my theater chair

22 Weeks Old
Napping on me now covers from my chest to my knees… she is getting SOOOOO big!
She takes up my whole theater chair when I’m not in it
6 Months Old
She is so big now, over 70 pounds, and she just about fills up the entire Love Seat in the theater
Taking a break from running the fence line around our two-acres…she is still all legs and ears
Ready to nap on her King Sized sleeper in the basement
